CERF Eye Clinic

There are many heritable diseases in animals. The Canine Eye Registration Foundation (CERF) was established in 1974 to track heritable eye diseases in purebred dogs. A database is maintained through registered purebred dogs examined by board certified veterinary ophthalmologists. This database helps breeders and ophthalmologists monitor eye diseases. A dog that is registered by CERF has been examined by an ACVO representative and found to be unaffected by a major heritable eye disease.

We do not have a CERF clinic scheduled at this time.

Pet First Aid

Certification provided by the American Red Cross.

Would you know how to care for your pet in an emergency? It is important to know what to do when your pets injured. There is no 911 service for pets and after-hours emergency veterinarian clinics may be miles away from home. American Red Cross pet first aid classes offers pet owner a peace of mind and the skills necessary to provide care in unexpected emergencies until they can get their pets to a veterinarian. Pet first aid teaches how to respond to a wide range of animal emergencies.

$35 includes pet first aid book and video.
